The paper determine the impact of Information System Quality (ISQ) on organisational performance (OP) in Jordan and the intervening variables of user satisfaction (US) and knowledge sharing (KS). This study is based on the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model (ISSM), which explores the nature of the relationship between high-quality information systems and its promotion of KS behaviours, which further lead to the improvement of OP. The research design utilised is quantitative since it examines data gathered between the employees of the Jordanian education industry especially universities through structural equation modelling (SEM). The results show that there is positive significant relationship between ISQ and US and moderate positive relationship between ISQ, KS and OP. However, contrary to the expectation, the findings reveal that the two variables, US and KS, significantly moderate the relationship between ISQ and OP which implies that other organisational or technology influencing factors to performance outcomes might be at play here. This study suggests that the universities in Jordan should employ more holistic approach of enhancing performance by ensuring that their information systems are strengthened and continuously enhanced.
