Service quality is an important consideration in understanding patients’ intention to return for hospital services. At Sembiring General Hospital in Deli Tua, the number of patient visits increased from 2,835 in December 2023 to 3,447 in June 2024. This study aimed to examine the relationship between service quality and outpatients’ revisit intention at the hospital. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. A total of 71 respondents were recruited through convenience sampling, and data were collected using a questionnaire. Associations between variables were assessed using the chi-square test at a significance level of 0.05 and a 95% confidence level. The findings indicated that reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles were each significantly associated with patients’ revisit intention, with p < 0.001 for all dimensions. Thus, all five service quality dimensions examined were associated with outpatients’ intention to return for services at Sembiring General Hospital in Deli Tua.
