Objective: Creative thinking skills are important in IPAS learning because they encourage students to generate ideas, explore solutions, and develop ideas. This study aims to describe the condition of creative thinking skills among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 12 Langsa, including supporting and inhibiting factors, their impacts, and teachers’ efforts to develop these skills. Method: This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects consisted of the fourth-grade teacher, principal, and 26 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Data validity was established through source and technique triangulation. Results: Students’ creative thinking skills were categorized as fairly good based on the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, although they were not yet optimal among all students. Supporting factors included the active role of the teacher, diverse learning media, interactive methods, and a supportive learning environment. Inhibiting factors included lack of confidence, differences in academic abilities, and limited student participation. Teachers developed these skills through active learning, engaging media, and opportunities for students to express their ideas. Novelty: This study provides a contextual description of creative thinking skills in IPAS learning through an analysis of their condition, supporting and inhibiting factors, impacts, and teachers’ efforts.
