Climate change is indeed one of the main challenges faced by humans in this era of globalization. Rising global temperatures and the impacts of climate change are the result of human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. This study aims to determine the amount of carbon added to the stand of the permanent plot. The research was carried out on a permanent plot which is precisely located in the Forest Area with Special Purposes (KHDTK) of Lambung Mangkurat University. This research is a type of quantitative research, the procedures carried out in this study include data collection, data processing before the field, data collection and data processing. Primary data collection was carried out using the Grid Sampling method. The number of plots to be used can be calculated by looking at the estimate of ecological variance, the precision set by the confidence interval (confidence level), and the estimate of error (error). The results of this study are that Pillar Carbon shows a significant annual increase, with a percentage increase of 38.0% from 2022 to 2023 and 29.7% from 2023 to 2024. Tree Carbon experienced a more moderate annual increase, with a percentage increase of 16.5% from 2022 to 2023 and 14.9% from 2023 to 2024. Although the growth is not as large as the carbon pole, this increase still shows a positive growth in tree carbon storage, Total Carbon shows a positive upward trend with a percentage increase of 19.7% from 2022 to 2023 and 17.5% from 2023 to 2024
