This study investigates the antecedents of job performance among public service employees at the Madiun Regency Land Office. It considers the effects of workload and supervisor support on job performance. Organizational commitment is examined as the mediator of the relationship between workload and supervisor support with job performance. The population study comprised 100 non-managerial employees at the Madiun Regency Land Office. Data was collected using a questionnaire and generated 97 responses. This research employed partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The results reveal that workload increases job performance, both directly and indirectly, through organizational commitment. However, job performance can be boosted by supervisor support only through organizational commitment. The findings of this study indicate the importance of managing employees as a valuable resource in organizations. Applicant selection and training are key activities that enable employees to adapt to the various dynamics of work processes and achieve high organizational performance.
