This article aims to outline the essence of digital transformation in student administration to enhance digital literacy and religious engagement in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). The primary objective is to identify how the digitization of student administration can strengthen students’ digital literacy and foster meaningful religious participation in the context of Islamic education in the Sa’diyah AI era. This study employs a literature review approach and a structured analysis of the literature on digital literacy, curriculum transformation, and the integration of technology in Islamic education. The synthesis findings indicate that the digitization of student administration has the potential to improve the accessibility of educational services, data accuracy, and the transparency of administrative processes. The implementation of digital literacy through digital administration platforms contributes to enhancing students’ ability to evaluate digital information and actively engage with ethically relevant religious content. A comparison of various studies reveals a consensus that digital literacy integrated with religious content supports the improvement of students’ critical literacy and participation in religious dialogue in the virtual world, although there are variations in the implementation context among madrasahs, public schools, and pesantren environments. The main innovation lies in the formulation of an abstract model of digital transformation in student administration that explicitly links digital literacy with religious literacy in the context of the AI Era.
