Synthesis and structural characterisation of compounds with gallium–silicon and indium–silicon bonds

The compounds [{(Me3Si)3Si}2M(µ-Cl)2Li(thf)2](M = Ga or In; thf = tetrahydrofuran) have been prepared and the structures of both compounds have been determined by X-ray crystallography.
