The work investigates the fundamental properties of obliquely propagating ion-acoustic solitary waves and their stability in a magnetized plasma medium containing inertial ions and inertialess kappa distributed trapped cold and hot electrons. The effects of oblique angle, external magnetic field, trapped parameters, kappa spectral index, charge state ratio between hot electrons and ions, temperature of ions to hot electrons and hot electrons to cold electrons on the fundamental characteristics (speed, width, etc.) of ion-acoustic solitary waves and their stability are examined. The solitary structures and associated electric field of ion acoustic waves via Sagdeev potential are also analyzed.
