Flexible electromagnetic wave manipulation under dual polarization is essential for wireless communication systems. A dual-polarized reconfigurable metagrating (DP-RMG) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for independent control of diffraction power distribution and beam steering in orthogonal planes at 3.66 GHz. By reconfiguring the impedance density distribution and the supercell periodicity, programmable power redistribution between the ±1st diffraction orders inyozplane is achieved underx-polarized incidence, with a maximum measured +1st-order efficiency of 82.59%. Undery-polarized incidence, continuous beam steering of the ±1st diffraction orders inxozplane is realized by varying the supercell size, covering an angular range from approximately ±17° to ±53°. Measurements under 45° linearly polarized incidence further confirm the independent operation of the two polarization channels.
