The change in technological structure, characterized by the rapid development of artificial intelligence, big data technologies and increasing demands on the technological sovereignty of the country, necessitates a review of approaches to the training of high school graduates. Informatics, as a subject that forms digital literacy, algorithmic and computational thinking, is designed to ensure that the younger generation is ready for life and professional activity in the digital economy. The Draft Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary General Education for 2026 offers a significantly updated content of the subject "Informatics" that meets modern challenges.Based on a comparative analysis of the draft standard on the subject of "Informatics" at the basic and advanced levels with the current standard, new substantive lines have been identified: artificial intelligence, simulation modeling, data engineering, system administration. Special attention is paid to the methodological aspects of the implementation of new content in high school. Specific practice-oriented approaches to the formation of students' understanding of the role of big data, skills in working with search engines and the basics of simulation modeling are proposed.
