Analysis reveals large agricultural holdings support food security and economic stability in Russia, indicating essential government backing.
In the face of economic turbulence caused by sanctions, logistical disruptions and currency fluctuations, the Russian agroindustrial complex remains stable thanks to large agricultural holdings. The article analyzes the activities of industry leaders – Miratorg, Rusagro, Cherkizovo, and EcoNiva – with an emphasis on their investments, export potential, and adaptation to sanctions. Special attention is paid to their role in ensuring food security and interaction with government support. At the same time, the emphasis is placed on the fact that the consolidation of all agricultural producers, both large, medium and small business forms, has an important role in the development and sustainability of the Russian agro-industrial complex.
