Analysis demonstrates the relationship between climate factors and wheat yield in the Saratov region, indicating a need for adaptive measures.
In the current conditions of global climate instability, it is the assessment of its regional peculiarities that is an integral part of solving the problem of adapting agricultural production to its changes. This paper presents the results of a study of the relationship between natural and climatic factors and the protein content in spring wheat grain grown on chernozem soils of the Saratov region. The agroecological soil fertility model functions as an agroecosystem that ensures high yields of spring wheat. The main climatic factor that determines not only the quantity but also the quality of agricultural products is the humidity regime of the atmosphere and soil cover, the study of which is of paramount importance in the context of the observed climate changes.
