Analysis reveals a link between upper jaw narrowing and facial skeleton development in 50 children, suggesting the need for interdisciplinary care.
Relevance: the narrowing of the upper jaw and violation of posture is a significant problem, both in orthodontics and in osteopathy, which requires a further search for ways to solve them. Purpose: against the background of narrowing of the upper jaw, identify changes in the musculoskeletal system in children aged 12-16 years in outpatient conditions. Materials and methods: 2 groups of patients aged 12-16 years, both sexes, in the amount of 50 people, divided depending on the presence of pathology. Research methods: analytical, clinical, photometric, radiological. Results: The relationship between the narrowing of the upper jaw and impaired development of the facial skeleton and posture in children aged 12-16 years was revealed, where reliable results were obtained on the basis of analysis and statistical data, confirming the presence of causal relationship. Conclusions: Any posture disorders lead to compensatory changes in the entire body that affects the maxillofacial region, in turn, a bite violation can lead to violations in the craniosaral system, as well as the resulting results confirm the need for interdisciplinary approach with the participation of dentist, osteopaths and Lor-specialists in solving this problem.
