Case study explores content based instruction effectiveness in teaching language and history.
This article aims to present the Teaching Method of Content Based Instruction while teaching Greek as a second language in mutlilingual classrooms. To be more precise, it focuses on investigating the appropriateness of the above teaching approach to effective language learning. In this light, the teaching of the subject of history is presented. The research process takes place at the High School of Intercultural Gymnasium of Eastern Thessaloniki, while the method of case study is conducted. For the collection of research data, the techniques of diary, observation and semi-structured interview are used.
