Genome assembly reveals structure in Closterotomus trivialis, indicating insights into Hemiptera evolution.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from an individual <ns3:italic>Closterotomus trivialis</ns3:italic> (mirid plant bug; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Miridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 1 163.70 megabases. Most of the assembly (94.03%) is scaffolded into 16 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 19.42 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.</ns3:p>
