Archaeological excavations reveal ancient tools and environmental data in Naḥal Ef‘eh, indicating historical significance.
In 2015, 2016 and 2018–2020, five excavation seasons were carried out at the site of Na h al Ef‘eh in the Negev Highlands (G-85/2015, G-93/2016, G-23/2018, G-40/2019, G-27/2020; map ref. 2142/5541; Fig. 1). The excavation, conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and funded by the Israel Science Foundation (Grant No. 345/18) and CARE archaeological foundation , was directed by J.
