The article discusses the issues of improving the quality of modern education in Kyrgyzstan through the development of technology adequate to new educational goals for assessing the educational achievements of primary school students, since primary education is the basis for subsequent human education. As an alternative to the traditional five-point assessment system, which does not contribute to the implementation of personality-oriented education, since it does not create conditions for stimulating the personal self-development of younger schoolchildren, the work examines the psychological and pedagogical features of personality-oriented assessment technology offered by the USAID program "Okuu Keremet!".
