**Abstract** Survivors of institutional violence share their stories of academic trauma, exclusion, spirit murdering, resistance, persistence, and possibilities for healing. Their voices are joined by those of allies and advocates who pose models for self-reflection leading to healing support for BIPOC women and for trauma-informed pedagogy that recognizes the impact of psychological traumas on learning and fosters well-being for all. Evocative poetry and artwork encourages reflection on the causes of trauma and invokes the power of healing and restoration of wholeness. This is the second of two special issues on the themes of institutional betrayal and academic trauma.
