New compounds indicalatucas A-C significantly reduce NO production in RAW 264.7 cells, implying their potential anti-inflammatory properties.
Three undescribed compounds (named indicalatucas A-C), including two lignans (1 and 2) and an abscisic alcohol glycoside (3), together with six known neolignans (4-9), were extracted from the leaves of Lactuca indica L. Their structures were elucidated using HRESIMS, ECD, and NMR spectroscopy. Among them, compound 1 significaltly inhibited NO production in LPS-activated RAW 264.7 cells (IC₅₀: 15.8 µM).
