Balloon-expandable valves demonstrate excellent long-term clinical outcomes in patients with small aortic annuli, comparable to those with large annuli, without being negatively impacted by 30-day mean gradients or prosthesis-patient mismatch.
Five-year clinical outcomes were excellent and comparable between patients with small vs large aortic annuli. Outcomes in patients with small annuli were not affected by 30-day MG or PPM.
