Do oil based and AS with oil adjuvants enhance the immune response of trivalent foot and mouth disease vaccine in cattle compared to conventional adjuvants?
Oil-based adjuvants may enhance the immune response to FMD vaccines in cattle, though further research on virus infectivity is needed.
This is the authors' abstract. We don't add key points for this paper.
The findings of this study could suggest that oil based and AS with oil could replace the conventional aluminum hydroxide gel and saponin adjuvants in FMD vaccine preparations. Challenge test was not successful indicating the need for further research on the virus infectivity.
Answers are grounded in this paper and cite their sources.
