Stable silylmethyl and neopentyl complexes of scandium(III) and yttrium(III)

The complexes (MeM′CH)M·2THF (M = Sc or Y; M′= C or Si) and (-MeOCHSiMeCH)Sc have been isolated from the reaction of the appropriate lithium reagent with MCI or MCI·THF. A collection of papers in memory of Professor Michael Lappert
