Should not yet change management in soft tissue sarcomas; leaves open whether these factors improve staging or trial stratification.
What are the prognostic factors for local recurrence, overall survival, and metastasis-free survival in patients with soft tissue sarcomas?
A combination of clinicopathologic prognostic factors, including tumor size, margins, necrosis, and adequacy of excision, provides better prognostic stratification for soft tissue sarcomas than histologic grading alone.
