Genome assembly reveals haplotypes and genomic structure in Laburnum anagyroides, indicating its genetic diversity.
<ns5:p> We present a genome assembly of <ns5:italic>Laburnum anagyroides</ns5:italic> (Laburnum; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Fabales; Fabaceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 1 137.25 megabases and 1 123.66 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (98.8%) is scaffolded into 25 chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial sequence has a length of 430.51 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 152.98 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns5:p>
