Thomas E. Van Koevering Richard B. Stiehi Thomas E. Van Koevering is an associate professor in natural and applied sciences and an associate professor in education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Green Bay, WI 54311. He is currently on leave teaching chemistry at the Institute of Technology Mara in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia as a part of the ITM/MUCIA Cooperative Program of Indiana University. Van Koevering has a B.S. in chemistry from Westem Michigan University, a M.A. in education from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in science education from Westem Michigan University. The recipient of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's Founders Association Award for excellence in community outreach for 1988, Van Koevering is interested in improving the science backgrounds of secondary school science teachers. Richard B. Stiehl is an assistant professor of biology at Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. He is currently on temporary appointment with the National Ecology Research Center in Fort Collins, CO. He has a Ph.D. in environmental science/biology from Portland State University and is interested in avian and wildlife biology.
