Aim: Regenerative dentistry is an increasingly dynamic field, propelled by breakthroughs in biomedical engineering research and the growing demand for treatments that surpass the limitations of traditional approaches. In the modern landscape of regenerative endodontics, where stem cells, growth factors, and a conducive environment for their development are essential, scaffolds have garnered significant attention.Despite the availability of multiple literature reviews on various scaffolds, there is a lack of research assessing clinicians' awareness about them. This study was conducted to evaluate clinicians' understanding of scaffolds in regenerative endodontics to identify knowledge deficiencies, enhance expertise, and improve patient care through advanced techniques. Methods: A cross-sectional multiple-choice questionnaire study was done among clinicians regarding their knowledge and awareness of various scaffolds and their applications in the field of dentistry. The analysis of the data was performed using methods of descriptive statistics. Results: Most of the clinicians prefer to use regenerative endodontic therapy in their daily dental practice. The majority of their concern is the criteria for selecting an appropriate scaffold and possible challenges they would face in handling and sterilization of them. The majority of them agree that updating knowledge as well as additional clinical research will help them use scaffold-based regenerative procedures in their day-to-day practice. Conclusion: Scaffolds play a vital role in regenerative endodontics by supporting tissue regeneration.Clinicians recognize their benefits but face challenges like material selection and standardization. This survey of current clinical practices and perspectives highlights the growing acceptance of scaffold-based approaches among clinicians.
