Why the study?
Does the novel class III antiarrhythmic drug MS-551 reduce ventricular arrhythmias in a rat model of coronary artery occlusion?
Does the novel class III antiarrhythmic drug MS-551 reduce ventricular arrhythmias in a rat model of coronary artery occlusion?
The novel class III antiarrhythmic drug MS-551 suppresses severe ischemic ventricular arrhythmias in a rat coronary ligation model, likely through IK1 blockade and effective refractory period prolongation.
Does not support clinical use; leaves open translation of MS-551 to human ischemic arrhythmias.
