Does a newly developed strategy identify atrial capture during dual chamber pacing when ECG assessment is impossible?
This paper introduces a novel strategy for identifying atrial capture during dual chamber pacing when standard 12-lead ECG is insufficient.
May aid atrial capture confirmation in dual-chamber pacing when ECG fails; leaves open need for prospective validation before clinical adoption.
During dual chamber pacing it is sometimes impossible to assess atrial capture even on the 12-lead ECG. We developed a strategy to identify atrial capture when it is not possible to do so by ECG, and when the ECG shows no evidence of spontaneous or paced atrial activity.
