A flow-through optosensor for riboflavin was developed in conjunction with a flow injection system and using immobilized β-cyclodextrin as the sensing agent. The detection limit for riboflavin was 9 ng ml–1 with a relative standard deviation of 1% for the determination of 0.05 µg ml–1(n= 7) of riboflavin. The recommended method was successfully tested for determination of riboflavin in pharmaceutical preparations.
