Showkathali et al. (2015) conducted a cohort in Severe aortic stenosis (n=295). Incidental findings of immediate clinical significance on CT aortogram vs. No incidental findings or non-immediate clinical significance findings was evaluated on All-cause mortality (HR 1.5, 95% CI 1.0-2.2, p=0.04). Incidental findings of immediate clinical significance during TAVI work-up were independently associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality (HR 1.5).
