Yamamoto et al. (2004) studied Heart failure (HF) with secondary pulmonary hypertension (n=14). T-1032 (Phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor) vs. Placebo was evaluated on Plasma levels of ANP, cGMP, and hemodynamic parameters. Oral administration of the PDE5 inhibitor T-1032 significantly increased plasma cGMP levels and improved cardiopulmonary hemodynamics in a canine model of heart failure.
