Although primary education plays an important role in establishing practical scientific knowledge and environmental awareness, classroom instruction often remains theoretical and lacks hands-on engagement with surrounding objects. This social project aimed to enhance students' creativity, basic biological knowledge, and environmental awareness through plastic waste utilization at SD Negeri Mandiro 2, Bondowoso Regency. Through educational outreach, demonstrations, and technical guidance, fourth-grade students engaged in the hands-on cultivation of mung bean sprouts using wet cotton media and repurposed plastic cups. The results demonstrated that students gained a solid understanding of plant growth processes and environmental stewardship through recycling principles, evidenced quantitatively by a 47.36 percentage point increase in average scores from the pre-test (26.32) to the post-test (73.68). This activity enables students to adopt an environmentally conscious lifestyle and transform waste materials into educational learning tools
