The article examines the peculiarities of the introduction of innovative technologies in the process of forming the pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers. The components of the concept of the teacher's pedagogical skill, the importance of the teacher's possession of certain qualities and characteristics that allow him to perform professional and pedagogical activities at a high and effective level are defined and indicated. The importance of introducing innovative technologies into the educational process is emphasized, due to the fact that the modern education system requires constant movement forward and the ability to produce a master specialist who will be competitive in the global labor market. The importance of competences with the help of which the teacher introduces innovative technologies into the educational process is indicated, and it is indicated that they characterize the level of his pedagogical skill and its formation in general. It is emphasized that the state also sets certain requirements for the personality of the future physical culture teacher, including a number of competencies (general, general education and special), culture (general and special), skills (special and pedagogical) and, as already mentioned, competence in introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process. The concept of dance sports and ballroom dancing, which in our opinion are elements of innovative technologies, because their use contributes to the formation of pedagogical skill in future teachers of physical culture, which occurs due to the introduction of elements of dance sports into the educational process, is revealed. The priority direction of introducing elements of dance sports into the educational process, which as a result will affect the general development of the personality, the ability to think creatively and make independent decisions, is indicated. It is summarized that the use of elements of dance sports during the educational process not only contribute to the formation of physical qualities of the individual (strength, dexterity, coordination abilities, flexibility), but also form moral and spiritual qualities, communicative abilities, the desire for acculturation and self-realization.
