Low PO2 attenuates isoflurane inhibition of ICa,L; hypothesis-generating for oxygen-dependent anesthetic effects in atrial cardiomyocytes.
Does oxygen tension modulate the inhibition of L-type calcium currents by isoflurane in human atrial cardiomyocytes?
In human atrial cardiomyocytes, basal L-type calcium currents are insensitive to acute oxygen tension changes, but low oxygen tension significantly diminishes the inhibitory effects of isoflurane on these currents.
