Leadership Style, Job Satisfaction, Training and Development, and Work Engagement as Drivers of IT Employee Performance: A Systematic Literature Review Protocol

Protocol (v1.2, 31 October 2026) for a systematic literature review, reported following PRISMA 2020, of empirical studies (2010-2025) on how leadership style, job satisfaction, and training and development relate to the individual job performance of employees in IT, software, ITES and ICT firms, and whether work engagement mediates these relationships. Sources: Scopus, EBSCOhost (Academic Search Complete; Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection) and PubMed, with Google Scholar as a supplementary source. Searches were run on 29-31 October 2026; this registration is submitted after the searches but before title/abstract screening began.
