94 subjects divided into 5 groups: 10 patients post-Fontan procedure for congenital heart disease, 11 age-matched controls with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), 15 age-matched normal subjects, 42 patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), and 16 age-matched older control subjects.

Exercise testing with metabolic gas exchange measurement and radionuclide ventriculography (to measure LVEF and RVEF).
