Differential RBF autoregulation in 2K-1C rats should not alter clinical hypertension management; leaves open whether similar resetting occurs in human renovascular disease.
In the 2K-1C hypertensive rat model, renal blood flow autoregulation is preserved but reset to a higher pressure limit in the nonclipped kidney, whereas it is completely lost in the clipped kidney.
