Obesity-induced hypertension is a significant health concern that affects a large population worldwide and leads to major health complications. With its comprehensive approach that takes into account emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects, Yoga therapy has become a popular alternative therapy for the management of obesity and hypertension. This research paper presents a detailed Yoga therapy module for the obesity-induced hypertensive adult population, encompassing various Yoga practices, such as sukshma vyayama, asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, Yoga nidra, shatkriya, meditation, and mantra chanting. The presented Yoga module is based on research studies that have demonstrated the benefits of Yoga practices in lowering blood pressure, improving cardiovascular function, promoting relaxation, and reducing stress. The literature review was carried out using databases such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed.Limitations of the research in this field include a lack of uniformity in the practice and reporting of Yoga interventions, small sample sizes, and short follow-up periods.Research indicates that Yoga can help people with obesity-induced hypertension through enhancing their general well-being and standard of life.More studies are needed for better understanding the optimal types and doses of Yoga practices for specific populations and health issues. The presented module offers an encouraging approach in managing obesity-induced hypertension and culminates the potential benefits of Yoga therapy as a complementary therapy for this population.
