Introduction: Varicose veins, which mostly occur in the lower extremities, are associated with twisting and widening of the veins, valve insufficiency, weakening of the vascular walls, increased pressure in the veins and genetic predisposition.Risk factors include family history, gender, old age, and prolonged standing, which leads to symptoms such as heaviness, pain, and itching in the lower extremities that persist for a long time, the weak vessels tend to form clots in superficial veins as well as in deep veins of legs and the superficial veins clots can cause inflammation, pain, redness, and swelling. In severe cases these can after rupture and there can be formation of clots in deep veins which is termed as deep vein thrombosis, these clots can get transferred by blood and can clog different vasculature.High-risk groups include manual laborers, farmers, and housewives, with risk factors such as 1) old age where the vascular walls are not patent as there are age-related changes, 2) in pregnancy where the fetal growth can bring pressure onto the veins of the leg and the pelvis, in turn, leading to varicose veins that are reversible, 3) prolonged standing, and 4) obesity.Obesity exacerbates varicose veins by increasing intravenous pressure and weakening vein walls, but weight reduction can alleviate symptoms.Case presentation: A case of a 34-year-old female presents with bilateral varicose veins.Complaints of pain, burning, itching, and tingling at the site of the varicose veins consist of aching, cramping, and heaviness in the legs with exertion on prolonged sitting or standing. An integrative approach using Yoga and Naturopathy exhibits notable improvements in managing varicose veins.Yoga, with low-intensity movements, reduces vascular inflammation, while naturopathy promotes lifestyle changes, and dietary modifications were put into her routine this helped in reducing her signs and symptoms her quality of life has improved significantly. Conclusion: Improvements in quality of life and SF-36 questionnaire scores were observed through a regimen incorporating Yoga, pranayama, relaxation, mindfulness practices, naturopathic treatments, and a tailored diet. This approach enhanced physical functioning, reduced pain, alleviated discomfort, and improved vascular health, highlighting the critical role of lifestyle and dietary modifications in managing varicose veins and fostering overall wellness.
