Introduction: COVID-19-induced pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a severe complication that can lead to long-term respiratory dysfunction, especially in patients with comorbid conditions.Conventional pharmacological treatments often face limitations in achieving full recovery, necessitating alternative or complementary approaches to enhance patient outcomes.Case description: A 47-year-old female with a known case of hypothyroidism developed severe PF following a COVID-19 infection.Despite intensive pharmacological treatment, her recovery plateaued.Intervention and outcome: An integrative treatment plan combining naturopathic therapies with conventional care was initiated. The regimen included Ginseng/Curcumin capsules 500 mg each, eucalyptus oil aromatherapy, juice therapy, and chest physiotherapy for about 60 days, targeting inflammation, fibrosis, and oxidative stress to promote pulmonary healing. The patient demonstrated significant clinical improvement following the integrative approach. Her fibrosis resolved, and lung function normalized, as confirmed through follow-ups.The complementary therapies appeared to synergize with conventional treatment, contributing to the overall recovery. Conclusion: This case highlights the potential benefits of integrating complementary therapies with standard treatments in managing severe COVID-19-induced PF.The findings emphasize the role of anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, and antioxidant approaches in enhancing clinical outcomes for complex cases.
